I'm cleaning up my system. It seems to have bits and pieces of several versions.

I used the uninstaller here http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#uninstaller
to get rid of all the Flash players installed and then installed the latest version.

What is the difference between adobe flash player and shockwave player?
Do they play different files? Is there an uninstaller for the shockwave player?

I'm just wondering if there is an uninstaller for the Shockwave player? If there is I could uninstall the one I have and do a clean install of the latest version.

I don't know what the difference is between the flash player and shockwave player. Off to do some reading....

Oh, you should be able to uninstall Shockwave via Add/Remove programs.
