Not sure what got updated. Havent had time to look at it. It came as an
auto update so dont know what it updated but every thing seems to be
    working ok.

    Hi Ramona,

That was quick. I barely have 1.5.0.2 broken in!

The auto-update is very painless. Except for the Roboform extention, everything else is compatible.

I hear ya' Mike! When I got the Firefox update window, I think I left skidmarks out in cyberspace, because, like you, it seemed like only a day or two ago I installed 1.5.0.2! ;) :D

I have to hand it to Mozilla, as to the timeliness of their Security updates.

It seems to have a bit of a memory leak. I frequently find it hogging over 100MB in memory and It usually never used even half that before.. even as I type this, and this is the only site I have open..

What should I do about that, perhaps reinstall it? or hope the next release does better?

Intranick, the mozillazine forums have two items that might give you some assistance. One is a knowledge base article, the other is a thread on that topic.

    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Reducing_memory_usage_(Firefox)

    http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=354828&highlight=memory+thread

Funny thing--I was about to say that I've never noticed this problem on any of my computers before. I just looked at FF has some 120 megs (of 512 available) used. I guess I just never really worried about it.

The memory usage issue has come up before. It is claim not to be a memory leak, but the gecko version 1.8, surely, uses more memory than then the 1.7.x (and, I found out the 1.9 nightlies, as well). Memory is used, and not released. No big deal in most cases, because most of us has RAM to spare, but it could be and is a problem with some people who still use Win98, with limited RAM.
I mentioned gecko v.1.8 because the fairly high memory usage is not only in FF1.5.x, but also in Seamonkey1.0.1, and, no matter what they may tell me this matter slows them down.
