Defender beta problem

Hi All,

I installed Defender Beta as soon as it became available and it seemed to work just fine for a while. Recently however, I am getting constant reports from the Windows Security Centre that an update is available, definitions for Defender. Running the update installer gives the result that I have successfully updated my system, but after a few minutes using my machine the same update is reported as ready for installation.
I have removed Defender and re-installed, but the same thing keeps happening.
Has anybody else a. experienced this problem?
b. found a solution?
