Hyperlinks not working

I loaded IE6 and suddenly any hyperlinks I try to access will not load. I have to click stop and then reload for them to display properly?? Anyone had a similar problem. I reloaded IE5.5 and I still have the same problem.

Have you tried a repair?

Control Panel | AddRemove. Doubleclick Microsoft Internet Explorer. Choose Repair, apply and restart.

If that dosen't work, or you don't have the repair option, do this:

Go to Start - Run (type each line below separately, then press OK)

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

Note: you should see a brief message after each entry.
Reboot and test IE - New Window,

Make sure that you have the most recent version of MS Virtual Machine installed.
