    Not good news for me, seeing as I'm a Sunbelt customer.

    I too am a recent convert to Sunbelt CounterSpy from MSAS (got fed up with it hogging 100% resources) - OK so CounterSpy does the same but less often. I had an excellent and speedy response from Sunbelt re. this and was pointed to the beta (RTM in a few weeks they say) in which the problem is fixed.

    However, one should not put too much store on the results of one magazine's tests ....

    In the November issue of Personal Computer World (UK) they ran a similar test with - guess what :) - somewhat different results, summarized below ....

    I don't run any anti-malware app resident other than AV & Firewall.

    If I were able to run CounterSpy as a scanner only, I would do so. It's overall history shows consistently good results.
