    A companion to this article is Eric Howes' study of antispyware programs

    Have not had time to compare the results yet. Howe's found several good programs, but said that no one could do the whole job.

    Hey Jim,

    I posted a thread on Howe's test awhile back - when MS AS was still Giant. At the time, it came out as the best single app.

    No one to my knowledge has compared the preventative resident apps or the resident parts of MS AS, Spybot, SpawareBlaster etc as to their effectiveness as of yet.
