AVG antivirus (at least the free version) does not detect the w32.Beagle.J and .K worm.

I just updated AVG & tried scanning the virus/worm file again... & AVG still does not detect it. TrendMicro Housecall & Panda Active Scan both detected it.

I have notified AVG a second time about it's programs failure to detect this.
And got what looks like a form response telling me how AVG free user's don't get tech support, even tho I stated in my e-mail that I did not need support but was only letting them know about their programs failure to detect w32.Beagle.J and .K worm.

see this thread http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?p=158084#post158084 for more info on my experience.

Does anyone use one of the paid versions of AVG?? does it detect this worm?

Thanks again to Newt & PeteC for their help.

Ouch. Thanks for the information but ... ouch.

My guess is that the paid version doesn't either. I think they put the same virus files in paid and free versions.
