Either us the Microsoft Basic Video driver or upgrade the video card.

Hi aussiejohn, why install Nvidia drivers when your System Specs show built in Intel?
How did you try and install W10?
Did you Download MCT for USB or DVD?
Was it MS upgrade install? Neil.

Most of the cards built in last 2 years would be fine. You can check AMD/ATI/NVidia site for more info.

Did the comp you tried to Upgrade have Nvidia Graphics???
Your System Details and your Thread signature show the same info.
Hard to tell what the comp specs are if you don't show/tell us what comp you're using.
Before I did 2 of our comps, I made sure they were W10 compatible and were up to date and Temp Files cleared and defragged.
I used the MS MCT and burned ISO to DVD and just used disc to install. Both went flawlessly. Neil.

Can I simply disable the NVIDIA GeForce 7025/NVIDIAnForce 630 card and use the Microsoft Basic Video driver and if so how?

Through BIOS settings. If it has a graphics card installed (Nvidia 630) you will need to make the change in the BIOS so that only 1 graphics system is used.
I have the Nvidia GT630 working OK in my W10 comp. Neil.

Neil, when you say you used MS MCT, did you get a special download through the Microsoft Certified Training program.

I knew there'd be trouble using acronyms. Microsoft and Media Creator Tool which enables the W10 ISO to be used on USB or burned to DVD
When you go to install W10 you are given the option to install by download or use the MCT and do it manually.

    Windows 10 Upgrade Instructions

This shows all the messages you will see during install. Neil.

grensam, you made the same mistake I made recently.
aussiejohn was installing W10 and got the error message.
In my last Post I left a link which gives all the detail necessary to do either USB or DVD.
Thanks for the help but it's the graphics driver or the fact that W10 sees 2 lots of chips which is preventing the install. ;) Neil.

Sorry aussiejohn I forgot to answer your query previously. Yes, you can Disable the card/graphics in Device Manager but it may re-install on next boot up of the comp. Neil.

I was able to upgrade to Windows 10 and I also have an NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a. Check this solution for GeForce Series 6 or 7:

NVIDIA compatibility issue with Windows 10

Feel free to add your findings there too!

Nice to see you're all sorted out. I can't follow why the MS System Check Tool didn't throw up a warning regarding your graphics. Neil.
