Just installed Win 10 and I have a problem. None of the buttons in the top right of thunderbird will work. I mean the Minimise, Restore and Exit buttons. Just started with the Win10 install.
    Thanks,
    mickzer.

    Sorry. I'm on version 40.0 ....it's a beta version.
I read the thread from the link you posted but there wasn't anything like my problem....or maybe I just can't see it.
    BTW Thunderbird works flawlessly otherwise.
    Thanks.
    mickzer.

The "BETA" may be the clue.

I agree with MrBill. TB V38.1 works flawlessly with W10 - so get off the Beta Version if you want everything to work. Neil.

Thanks to Mr Bill and retiredlearner.
Yes, I know it's to be expected with the beta version. I just thought there might be an easy solution, but it's not a big problem and I just right-click on the taskbar button and exit.I wonder has it happened to anyone else on the beta version or am I unique?
I'll wait a while to see before I mark it as resolved. Remind me if I forget!!!

The solution is for TB to fix it. Me and you can't.

Just to let everyone know I couldn't get a fix for this and reverted to Version 38.2.Now I can again shutdown TB by clicking the "X ".I suppose it is resolved in one way so I'll mark it so.
