Did you right click on the windows logo and then click on run. In that command box you type control userpasswords2 then click Ok. Uncheck the box where it reads Users must enter user name and password to use this computer. Then click on Apply and then Ok. Restart your machine.

Hi flippylip, This has worked for me on 4 W8.1 comps:
Hold down Windows Key + R key.
    Type netplwiz and Enter key.
User Account > uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" > OK.
You may have to enter the User name or Password that you want to bypass > OK.
Restart your comp for the change to take effect. Neil.
