My Win7 troubleshooter is telling me that my Brother MFC9325cw is turned off. It is not, and I have powered off/on several times with no success. This problem started when trying to diagnose why printer must be reinstalled every time Win 7 is started/restarted. A real pain. The MFC is dropped from the network even though I have reinstalled several times. This has started since recent Windows automatic updates/restart. Can anyone offer advice please? I have also tried to reconfigure port on the printer properties but message says facility is not available.

Hi chergray, Welcome to WindowsBBS. :) Have you tried uninstalling your printer Drivers completely - Reboot comp then reinstall your Printer drivers?
This is usually the step suggested by the Manufacturers when you contact them. Neil.

Thanks Neil, I did as you suggested and completely uninstalled before re-installing. It seems to be working as advertised now, with Win7 recognising the MFC again. Many thanks.
