with Win 7 pro. is there a way to auto-save my docs to several external hd's at once - either as I type (best) or when I close the docs. I have several b/u devices and It's just too tedious to do "send to" function one at a time.
    Thank you.

Hi muruga, I found this on a Google search:
    Save a document in Word

The last entry deals with where you want to Save to. Neil.

Auto send word to to external devices

This is not what I am looking for - sure I know how to save a doc - but what i am asking is how to auto send the doc to multiple EXTERNAL devices such as portable HD's and Thumb drives - to go around the "send to" command which does one device at a time.
    But thanks for the try.

The short answer is Nope... No can do.

But you can Copy and Paste - Paste - Paste...

You can write a batch file to copy entire folders to multi locations or files that are Newer that X date & time.

The free app called Sync Back will auto copy files from one location to another at any time interval you select... Then you can create additional commands to copy to additional locations...
