I have Win. Pro on a Dell Desktop machine. I installed Win. Works 2000 so I could use Home Publishing and WinWord. No problem Installing but nothing in Works 2000 would work I Googled the problem and was advised the Win. 2000 is not compatible with Win.7. Any suggestions on a work around on this problem

Partitioning hard disk is not required for any program to run. Its done for different purpose. You can continue using only the current partitioning scheme.

Partitioning your hard drive has nothing to do with getting Office 2000 to run on Windows 7.

Just follow the instructions in the link that I posted and the programs should work.

Wouldn't Option 5 be better if you want the Word 2000 to run every time you use it? Neil.
