An internal customer at work bought a Win7 PRO OEM license, and told me to install it. I tried www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery but it's known that you can't use an OEM key here, to download. Question: How/where do I download? The name on the holographic sticker says "Windows 7 Pro medialess for OEM software ". Do I need to tell my internal person to go back to the place where he bought the Key, and order Media? How do I proceed?

Yes, you need to ask the OEM about it.

Actually there is no OEM.. we bought it to install it ourselves... we bought the license from a reseller who sells computer parts etc etc.... Anyway, if they sold us a license, then they'll have to sell us a disk as well...

Not necessarily as the license that you bought was "Windows 7 Pro medialess for OEM software ". Note the media less part.

Gee... Is there supposed to be some sort of 'immaculate conception' that produces a DVD? How does one install an OS with absolutely no media? I guess what you're saying is that the people we bought the license from, should be able to supply us media...

If you bought a media less version you probably
    • have to pay for a disk
    • not be able to get a disk

OEMs are required to include a recovery solution as part of their installation of Windows. Usually this means reinstalling the OS from a hidden partition on the hard drive.
