I have too many address lists. The one most complete is iCloud, but there are some entries in Contacts that are missing from the iCloud one. Does anyone know how I can merge all of these address books. There are 4 of them.

It depends on which applications you are using. Maybe one has a "sync" option.

Oh, sorry. Of course I should have mentioned: It's Outlook 2010.

Anybody got any ideas? I have 2 contact lists (1 is empty); an icloud list; 2 contact lists (mobile - 1 empty); and an icloud (mobile). How did I make this hodge-podge, and how do I narrow it down to just one, if possible?

I thought there would be a simple solution for this and that several people would be able to help. Maybe not??? Am I not giving enough information? Should I take the computer in to a fix-it shop?

I'm not sure I've been clear about my problem with multiple address books. They are all within my Outlook 2010 on my Windows 7 computer. Too many address books, and each contains different contacts.

If you have in fact icloud synched to your Outlook 2010 - why not unsync for a start.
I use Mozilla TB which has 2 Address books - 1 for Personal Addresses and 1 for Collected Addresses.
Does Outlook have the same? Neil.

    Syncing to Outlook

Thank you for responding, RetiredLearner. Actually, I did not have my iPhone address book synced to my Outlook. It was synced to Windows address book by default, and just yesterday, thinking that might be my problem, I synced it to Outlook.
Maybe I'll delete all the addresses in the iCloud list in Outlook and see if they return. What do you think of that? Will that make things worse???
