A few weeks ago there was an MS security update that broke RDS. Someone here was kind enough to figure out which one it was so I backed it out and "hid" it. However, it seems that there has since been another update that once again broke RDS. Does anyone know which it is so I can back it out too? TIA.

P.S. I suppose it is pointless to ask what kind of regression testing MS does or doesn't do before releasing these updates.

Google KB3003743 and read the threads that come up.

You may want to uninstall and hide it from Windows Update until a fix is released.

Something to help with your google searches-> Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)

Is what most people would call it;)

I've already done that but I guess this update is too new for anyone to have posted anything yet. All I find is the old one.

The official acronym in this company is RDS (no idea why) so writing that way has become automatic. I always used to use RDP too.
