When i try to schedule a task (to record a radio program), this error message appears: "The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with.
    (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041321 "
I've been performing this task for years with no problems!

    Please help!

    Step 2 says:

"Expand Task Scheduler Library tree in the left pane, and located the folder that contains the corrupted task. "

When I open the Library, middle pane lists many tasks. How do I know which one is corrupted?

    Thanks!

Hi spring, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

Unless I am mistaken the task that is corrupted is the one that you attempted to create yourself so it would be a matter of deleting the task and re-creating it from scratch.

If you are still getting the error message then posting the name of the task that it says is corrupt would help to narrow down the cause of the issue.
