Photo Email Is Back At Picasa

Just got notification of an update from Picasa, installed it, surprise surprise, the first thing I tested was the email, that had been off for quite some time, I was compelled to install a Photo Mailer because of it.
The Picasa Forum was full of complaints about it, they did say that they where working on finding a solution. They have, and I hope it keeps working.

I teach 2 Picasa classes (Basics and Applications) at the retirement center where I live.

A number of residents here use Picasa because of the ease in sending photos via e-mail. 2 or 3 weeks ago, I got a complaint from a couple of residents about not being to send photos from Picasa. Tried it on mine and had the same problem. I tried again about a week later and it worked - so I guess the fix had been put in place at about that time.

The folks here like Picasa because it is 1)Free, 2)Easy to use, and 3)Has a resident (me) troubleshooter.
