I want to connect three of my Routers.
    1. Fortinet (No access to this router) DHCP Enabled. ISP provided
    1. Netgear WNDR3400 (Primary) used as a web filter using Live parental controls by open DNS.
    2. TP Link MR3220 (Secondary)

I want to use the third routers as a router and not switch. so the cable coming out of the netgear should go to the WAN port of TP Link.
I have problem in assigning IP's to third router

    1. Netear WAN IP: 192.168.1.0
Internet IP address: - use static IP address
    IP address: 192,168.0,144
    IP Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway IP address: 192.168.0.1

    LAN TCP/IP setting
    IP Addresss: 192.168.1.100
    IP Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    DHCP Off

    2.
    TP Link WAN IP: 192.168.1.77
    Gate: 192.168.1.100
LAN IP: 192.168.2.1 and also checked with 192.168.0.5
Then changed the TCP/IP of PC to 192.168.2.x and 192.168.0.x subsequently
    But internet not working
    DNS 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220

what should be the WAN , LAN IP of TP link?
Not able to configure TP link. Please tell me the new TCP/IP settings of PC in case i install the TP link

Now the internet is running fine with these settings:

TCP IP settings on my computer is

    IP address: 192.168.1.7
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.1.100

Why you need so many routers ? What are you trying to achieve ?

I have 12 PC's connected to internet and I want to restrict internet category wise, time wise,Band width control per IP, monitor web activity etc.
The first router is useless since my ISP does not provides any support and asks me to buy costly firewall UTM.
So I use Netgear with Open DNS to block internet content but it does not has other features.
Though I plan to upgrade Netgear firmware to TOMATO firmware which will serve my purpose but for the time being I wanted to check its setting on another router so if I am sure.I'll fix it in place.

Forget about a 3rd router. Set the ISP router with DHCP disabled and load Tomato or DDWRT on the other router.

Using 2 routers that route is bad enough, adding a 3rd makes t-shooting nearly impossible.

What you need is a firewall or UTM. Routers are not going to do it for you.

As Tony said three routers would make troubleshooting nearly impossible.

Costly firewall/UTM ?Got a spare PC ? Get a free UTM with these :

Endian or IPFire or Sophos Free Firewall.

There are many other alternatives. Take your pick.

    Sophos free UTM:

    Minimum Hardware Recommendations
1.5 GHz processor (dual core recommended)
1 GB RAM (2GB strongly recommended)
    60 GB hard disk
    Bootable CD-ROM
    2 or more network cards

The better the system, the better a UTM will work. Cheaper hardware UTMs tend to slow down the network considerably. You can build your own UTM with really good hardware using a Zotac Zbox. I use one for a HTPC.
