    major problems with Google Chrome.

I have Win XP SP 3. Used it for, many years with no problem until a few months ago when error messages started to appear and now they appear many times a days stopping the access to many files. I have tried many times to " load update" as prompted to solve the server security certificate but the same message appears and stopped the installing. Along with the frequence of "Aw Snap" which seems to be an allied problem.
On searching I find hundreds of files labelled "Chrome" and hundreds of files labelled f___12, f__ etc. Any suggestions how I can either sol,e the problem which seems to and "SSL" error whatever that is.

I would be happy to get everything Google Chrome off the PC and into the rubbish bin.

    TIA

Same here, I ended up uninstalling Crome in XP SP3, run A1 for years, then bam no more.
It is running beautiful in my Win 8.1 64 Bit, came with the OS strangely.

Was this issue ever solved? I often get the "Kill Pages" or "Wait" because the page or site is not responding and the "Aw Snap ". I have uninstalled and re-instaled Google Chrome many times and it continues to happen often. I have Vista.

Like I posted above, on my trusted old XP machine I ended up uninstalling Crome for the very same reason, I was unable to reinstall a new version, so I am only running Fire Fox on that Machine.
When I loaded 8.1 on my new comp, it was part of the 8.1 install DVD, installed fine and is running great on 8.1.

Since my OS is Vista, I didn't think this applied to me since it references Windows XP. I apologize for my inability to perceive the relevancy.
