I have a Packard Bell Easynote TJ65 running Windows 7

The Java updater was flashing so I allowed it to run an update. I then went to move the mouse pointer only to find the pointer won't move and both buttons no longer work. The power saving lamp and the touchpad locked lamps are lit. I can't find a way to unlock it. Can anyone help?

    Thanks for your reply

After much frustration I shut it down. I've just switched it back on and all is now working. Hopefully it was just a glitch.

    Thanks again.

A shut down and restart has fixed many a problem on lots of computers. Glad you got it fixed.
