    Hi guys

I have xpwin.sp3 with one of those new rectangular monitor. I just realized that there is a grid limit when i try to move an icon in the desktop to the extreme right. Of course when i don't "aligned to grid" then icon move to whatever place.

How can i extend the grid to cover the full width of the screen?. What is the logic behind all these? Help appreciated.

What is the brand name and model number of your monitor?

Did you install a specific driver for it?

Hi FuzMic, as antik has suggested you will probably need to install the monitor makers drivers, but if you Right click on your Desktop > Properties > Settings > your Monitor should be shown > screen resolution slider can be moved to suit screen size > OK out. Neil.

So a restart of your comp cured your problem?
Please mark your Thread as Resolved if it's fixed. Thanks Neil.

New finding that may help someone: The limited grid is due to hardware error - bad contact with some cards so the configuration data is not properly loaded. Once i clean up the contact, the original layout of my icons came in the rightful page.

I am now not a spammer from this other ip address that i use now. I had written days ago to Arie in my email from the pc that gave this spammer problem. It had happened before, WHY?? Cheers!
