    Windows XP, Home, SP2
From the MS AntiSpyware (beta 1) report-

under winsock layered service providers (LSPs)
    Third party LSPs:
    1. Good - imslsp/1111070035 over [CA ISafe LSP over [MSAFD Tcpip [TCP/IP]]]
    2. Broken LSP - imslsp/1111070035

At the top of the listing, it says that the #1 is good, but the bottom of the list
shows a broken one (#2), they seem to be identical.

    A search show only 1 imslsp.dll within windows\system32.
Thinking this could be the reason that web pages are not loading completely.
How do i get rid of the broken one without damaging the good one?

    thanks,

    Hello savagcl,

If you think its a problem, I don't think so, try LSP fixes from this site:
    http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

As for everything else, be prepared to backtrack, either thru System Restore or whatever software you run for that purpose.

    Regards - Charles

    Sorry, i spoke to soon.
Started having "unknown file extension" on a few sites then
all of a sudden, i couldnt get to any sites.

Had to restore my system before i could get anywhere.

So, the bad one is back but at least i can get to pages now.

    thanks,

This "bad one" is actually part of something good, it is a file of your ZoneAlarm firewall.

Ifinally found a reference to it in ZA. It was the last component under
    programs>components.

Strange, some pages i can get to, some i can't (like yahoo.com) this
even after doing a full HD restore (Acronis full disk image). I rolled the
sys back to a week ago (last full backup).
Everything should have been back in place, even ZA.

    thanks,

Ah, well, it seems like a full clean uninstall/reinstall of zonealarm fixed the problem
of at least being able to get to web pages. Wether or not it fixed the bad imslsp is
    still up in the air....

    thanks,
