I used to have a little program that allowed All Programs under the Start menu to be listed in a straight line rather than the two/three frames view. I would appreciate it if anyone knows where I can get this tweak as I have looked for over two weeks and still can't find it. (had one hellacious computer crash-- I thought the puter was going to be a toaster) I would appreciate an email to email address removed if you know because I have trouble finding anything I post ... sometimes age is a detrement. Thanks to all!

Admin Note: We need to keep all responses on the forum. If you want to be notified when you receive a response, there is a button you can check to make that happen. I did send email to the address you gave to let you know about this update.

I also modified the title so be more specific.

I don't know about the program but you are aware that xp has that option built into it aren't you? If not the how to is to right click the taskbar and select properties. Click on the startmenu tab. (if using xp style) Click on the Startmenu customize button. Click on the advanced tab. Under the "network connections" sectioned list and before the "system administrators tools" is an option named "Scroll programs" if unchecked you got old style paneled menus if checked and enabled you get one long scrollable list. Apply and okay/exist your way out.

I have to check to see where the option is for classic style and if tweakui will also do this for you...be back in a bit.

Classic menu direction is pretty much the same how-to. Rightclcik tasbar>properties>startmenu tab>classic startmenu button> "scroll programs" option is in the list. Click to enable/unclick to to disable.

Can't seem to find it in xp tweakui. Doesn't mean it's not there, I may be blind... :)

    goddez1--
I find "Scroll Programs" under the "Start Menu Items" heading rather than "network connections ". I am using WinXP in Luna mode. Maybe that is the difference.
I mention this only to make it easier on heroclides if Scroll Programs is hard to find using your suggestion.

    Hi Jim,
That's the name of the whole list of Sectioned Items. I was actually referring to the placement of "scroll programs" within that scrollable list. Maybe I should have made it clearer but your post should clear up any needless head scratching or eye squinting on the part of the heroclides. :)
