"Clear History" doesn't work

    My "Clear History" button in TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS only seems to work about 25% of the time and I can't figure out what I am doing (or not doing) to makie it inoperative. I know that running Internet Explorer and AOL at the same time will disable it, but now it won't work, period. Anything I need to click or change?? I read one post somewhere that my History file might be "corrupted "?

    I may havsolved my own problem

    I use "Bearshare" for downloading music files, and it is always on when my computer is running. I discovered that I can clear my history when I turn "Bearshare" off.
