Don't know if Symantec is catching up or reported new vira/varients are keeping
them busy writing solutions. During evening of 8-19-03, received 3x email alerts
(2x moderate, 1 severe) advising of downloads for new virus protection against 3 new virus problems. You might want to check your AV and run for updates.
What's up with August... National Virus Month?

Moosoft Cleaner3 ( Trojan Checker ) has also had several updates the past few days.

I am not 100% sure but I think they had two updates yesterday.

AVG7 has also had updates just about every day.

And I just got another AVG7 update.

Hi BillyBob, thanks for the heads up on the Moosoft update, going to get it shortly.

Also I've been getting smoked with the W32.Sobig.F@mm virus today. Must have had 20 or more e-mails with it attached. Norton wasn't picking it up until I d/l'd the latest LiveUpdate this afternoon since then Norton hits it and quarrantines. A real PITA. Fortunately I didn't open any of the attachements and my wife wasn't home or she probably would have.

I wish people would be a little more vigilant about their virus protection.

    Cheers!!

The W32.Sobig.F@mm has come down on me too, almost like a hail storm. This is the first severe virus attack I experience but I was lucky enough to have my virus definitions up-to-date.

Is it possible that Sweden is so far down the pipeline that virus attacks doesn´t hit us as severely or have I only been lucky, until now that is?
