In case you did no do this you need to go into the bios of the computer and set the boot order of the computer. Put the cdrom first then the floppy.
any particular reason why it won't work? are your boot floppies ok? Maybe try to download a new set from the net.
Instead of using the floppies set the cdrom as a boot device and try to install from the cd.
