I have 1000+ messages in my paid Outlook Live 365 inbox. I want to clear up the clutter in my Inbox & move all the messages to Archive but I can't find any way to move all the messages at once.
Is there a way or do I have to do it message by message ?

You can click one email.....press and hold the Shift key.....and then scroll down and click another email.... ALL the emails in-between should be "marked." Then click the ARCHIVE button.

Thanks Steve it worked. But any idea how to select ALL the messages at once & move ? Clicking & scrolling works only for hundreds of messages but not thousands which I have. (I have messages going back to 2018, both online & in Thunderbird on my computer. I need to access these when I am not on my computer & so need online access too.)

Why are you wanting to do anything? What is the difference between the Inbox folder and an Archive folder?

BUT, you can do the method I mentioned by the thousands.... Doing it in groups would be safer than all at once in the event of a power failure.

You can also create RULES that will move emails to different folders upon receipt. Look in the HELP section for rules.

My Android phone s-l-o-w-s to a crawl & starts giving Sync error on such a large emails collection.

I don't want to move incoming emails to different folders - only move all the emails in Inbox to Archive.
