Resolved Hardware to copy from a TV DVD Recorder to PC DVD

    What hardware and software do I need to copy from a DVD recorder to a PC DVD disk? I have less than 100 USD to spend? I do not need studio quality sound or video. Thank you

    For members to assist, would be helpful to provide additional info ...
    What brand/model of DVD recorder are you using??
    What file output options does the above device provide.
    Some general info in what type of DVD recording you wish to do, example, TV shows, output from another video device.

    ADDITIONAL question
    Does the final "PC DVD disk" required to run on a "stand-alone-DVD player "
