Resolved Ext Monitor for laptop

    I'm running an Asus laptop with Vista64. Since I use an external keyboard
    I would like to be able to close the laptop and use a real monitor behind it.
    When I close the laptop it goes into sleep mode. Is there a way to keep it
    from going to sleep?

    Control Panel->Power Options->tell it to do nothing with the lid is closed;)

    Thanks, it took a little while to find that option.
    I figured it existed but leave it to Microsoft to hide it.
