Hi, I have a D Link ADSL+2 router G604T, running Windows XP and it is set up to work on my Laptop and the other desktop with a dongle,& I have it secured but I have lost the login name and password so that I can let my mates laptop log in,
Is there some place on my PC or in the unit I can find this out.
    Thanks Des.

As you can imagine - this is a Very Touchy subject on an Open to the Public message board.

You should be able to look in the manual for instuctions on how to reset it to factory defaults.

Since this post is not about cracking passwords seems legit, I will post a link to a utility that can recover wifi passworks. The reason I feel it's OK to post this is because this tools does not crack passwords, it finds the stored wifi passwords that already exist on the computer, it shows all wifi passwords of Preferred Networks list. This tool does not connect to a wifi router or interact with one.

Gaining access to a secured router control panel will require the username & password or a router reset to defaults.
