HP Pavilion Hard Drive Questions

    Hey All
    I recently installed Windows XP on a hard drive on my HP Pavilion 8575C. I would like to take the hard drive out and place it into another computer, but I can't seem to be able to remove the hard drive from the HP. If anyone knows how to do this could they please email me at Swpihc1@aol.com If you know of any tutorials that might help that would be awesome.

    If you are going to try and run XP on the other computer, it probably won't work properly (unless the are identical). If you have the original CD's that came with the computer there should be a diagram of the inside. HP has some strange configurations. :D

    The complete systems manufacturers are making those types of hardware operations "clip-in ", "clip-out" now. Look for a clip/catch.
