Samsung confirms 4TB SSD 850 PRO

    Wow! These density levels are increasing much faster than HD densities did. That's a good thing for consumers as it will drive prices of lower density SSDs down.

    I note the prices for the recently release 2Tb versions in the UK is £636.99 ($965.15 at today's exchange rate) for the 2TB 850 EVO and £749.99 ($1136.36) for the 2TB 850 PRO. I don't expect the 4G version to be double that, but no doubt a chunk of change higher. Still, sizes like this will affect HD buying.

    I can buy locally the Kingston 240GB SSD for $139.00. Four of those would be a lot cheaper for me. Neil.
