When I plug in one of my external hard drives it doesn't freeze it completely, just makes it very very slow. It doesn't bring up the auto run and eventually click too many things will lock it up. I don't know if it's the hard drive beginning to fail or a computer problem. On this computer (running XP) I can open another hard drive just fine and my hard drive in question will open fine on a Win 7 pc that we also have. Running a Malwarebytes and Avast scan came up clean.
    Any thoughts?

Hi kmssd, Welcome to WindowsBBS. :) Have you tried another USB connector? Neil.

Wire, USB slot and a different SATA to USB from another enclosure. All had same result.
