In computer short cut (Desktop), each drive and devices show information for each installed. Information are : Name of HD manufacturer, allocated letter, slider bar (blue/white) showing amount saved and size of HD (TB) with free space remaining.
One drive has now stopped showing slider bar (blue/white) and free space remaining.
All other drives show correctly information. Can this be rectified to correct fault?

HI BobbyScot, My W7 Pro 64 bit when I Double click on > Computer > Open it will show the current HD used and free space, but it doesn't show make and model of HD.
Right click Computer > System > Device Manager > will show model of HD and capacity.
I can only get fuller info by using an open source Software program like Speccy, Sandra Lite or Everest Home Edition. Neil.

    Yes MrBill you are correct.
I had to connect my W7 HD to check as I use W8.1 as my current HD. Neil.

Thank you for reply information. My main question, is how to regain the showing of how much TBs remain on the HD i.e [1.81TB 2.78TB].

As suggested I ran my copy of Speccy, it showed HD in question was Used space 3.78GB Free Space 2790GB. This information is no longer showing when I open Computer Shortcut -- all other HDs show applicable information.

What type of drive is it?
Is it an Internal or an External drive?

If you right click on and select Properties - does it show the information?
