Do you really want and or need the touchscreen?

For about the same money you can get a Vostro 460 with a MUCH MUCH faster cpu. I just order two for the office.

    To Steve R Jones

No I could do without the touch screen. Is the Vostro 460 an all-in-one? (I'll do a search now.) Thanks for the reply!

I don't know why anybody would really want an all in one. Harder to work on when something goes bad. Regular PC for me any day other than my one laptop.

Agree. Little upgrade possibilities. Can you put in a larger hard drive or more RAM yourself? At least some/a lot of "laptops" let you do that.

I am going to wait and see if they are somewhat customisable or just a giant tablet computer.

Sorry to appear unsupportive, but I get steamed when things go wrong or you require an upgrade and the only way is to pay BIG $ through the hardware manufacturer.

How do I know how long a 500GB HDD or 4GB of RAM will last you? Most computers are going well past those specs now. I want to be assured I can upgrade if I need to.

    Matt

If you're asking me, then, My main reason: takes less space. But I do respect your opinion and it (all-in-one) being harder to work on when there's a problem is a valid reason. Thanks!
