My System

Unreadable codes application on WinXP

There are half unreadable codes and half readable codes (words) while I open an application (.exe). The software seems to be an electric book which I download from a website.

The book is created by Chinese and my operation system is English version. On the left side of the application, all of the words, which are contexts of the book, are unreadable (display on my screen: ??? ????). However, I can read the content information at the right hand side. All the words are Chinese.

Can be fixed it?

My System

And the same thing happen again, I open a *.txt file and the uncode text displays on my screen again.

Is it means that my system has not a Chinese reader? But I still can surfing in the Internet and browsing Chinese website, and no bugs until now.
