Question Deleting Exe's After Installing-Can I?

I download a program. For instance, Avast. I have to double click it to install. Can I now delete the Exe after the program is installed and set up and working? I've asked this question before, many moons ago, but don't remember the answer. Must be the senior moment thing. Thanks for any input on this. Just want to clean up my download folder a bit. I have 3 copies of Firefox in there, updated versions. Me thinks me doesn't need all of them?

Hi Panda. Whatever installation .exe file that you download can be safely deleted after the application is installed. There is no harm in deleting the installation .exe file. If you need to reinstall any applications then you can always redownload any software program that you need assuming that the software is free of course.

Thanks. That's what I thought but just wasn't sure. So it looks like I can probably delete all of the exe's in that folder.
