Windows Live Messenger Installing Failed

Hi friends,
I had the windows live messenger 8.1 Installed on My PC few days back yest i saw that there was a updated version available. So i Downloaded it and tried to install but..it did not install totally it used to stop in the Start itself...So i thought that the software might be bugged so i just Went through the Older Version to try and install it But it says that u have a newer Version which u need to Uninstall Before Installing the Windows Live 8.1 . Can someone tell me wat shud i be doing...coz there is No Live messenger which i can uninstall in the Add or Remove segment.

That's an almost sure indication of Malware on your system!

Read this post, then post the requested log(s) in the Malware and Virus Removal forum.
