Copying formulas between workbooks

We've only recently started trialling Office 2007. On two devices with SP2 if you try copying a formula between two workbooks it will only paste the value - this is what is going into the clipboard. It's ok if you copy it to the same workbook (on any worksheet). Any ideas?

Pete

Yes... However I think I've now resolved it. Basically I and the user were opening a new instance of Excel. If you open a new workbook from within the already open instance of Excel it works....... Obviously doesn't like different PIDs.
