Question Deleting Custom Page Sizes in MS Office 2007

The Microsoft Office Suite has a list of page sizes in the page setup menu that allows one to select a page size from the standard list, or add to it with custom sizes. Custom sizes can be saved with a name and will appear in the list with the standard sizes forever after, in all Office suit apps. How do I delete those custom named sizes when I don't want them any more?

I am currently using Office 2007, but they were all created using Office 2003.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Try going into your printer properties.

I am using an Epson
I open the printer properties
Click the Advanced Tab
I then click the Printing defaults button
I then select "User Defined" from the "Size" drop down
This opens another dialog box
where all of my user defined sizes are visible.
If I select one, the "Delete" button becomes enabled and I can click it and confirm deletion and it is gone.

BilbO, thanks for the reply.

I have two HP laser printers and one HP InkJet printer. The two lasers have the same list of sizes in the Size is: dropdown list, but none of the three printers' Size is: list has a "User Defined" size on the list. There is a "Custom" button where one can create a new custom size (which is how I created the ones I want to delete now), but nowhere does it give me a dialog box where Delete is an option when working with this list. It appears the Printer Properties dialog is different for each printer.

Well, I did some digging on the HP support site, and while there are LOTs of instructions for adding custom paper sizes, I could not find any instructions for deleting them.

I do not think this is an Office or Microsoft issue.
Paper sizes are tied to the printer driver.
You might consider contacting HP direct...

Unless,,,
Have you tried to "right click" on any of the custom sizes to see if there is any options offered?

Yes, tried the right click. Nothing. I actually have just started a chat session with HP. I'll let you know what I learn.

well, BilbO, I got the answer from HP, "you may delete the custom created size forms from Server Properties of the File Menu from Printers & Faxes." It works.
