CD Problem

Every month I buy a particular computer magazine which is quite reputable and along with the magazine comes 2 CDs containing various software (freeware, trials, shareware etc.)

Now on one of my pc, when i am inserting the discs in my cd rom they work fine, however, when i am inserting them on my CD-RW, I get the opening screen then there is a "I Agree", "I Disagree" screen, and when i click on "I Agree" i am getting an "error 7 out of memory", eventually if i try to browse the cd (using right click and explore) it I am able to browse through the folder.

I've searched through google, and on the microsoft knowledge base i found an article addressing it (Q241245), however, it says that this error message normally occurs when a particular file is used in a vb project "FM20.dll". However, they say that the problem with this file exists only if a version of microsoft office 97 or later is not installed ( i have office XP ).

Does someone has ever encountered this error message, and do you think it's hardware related or software related ?

Thank you for any feedback, and sorry for the long thread.

That helps because we need more detail and XP can get it pretty painlessly.

Click on start->run->eventvwr.msc and OK. When the event viewer opens, locate an error or warning event from the error you are seeing and open it. Then click on the icon below the up/down arrow to send a text copy to your clipboard and paste that here.

If you have several different errors, paste a copy of each.
