Question MS Publisher - how to publish to a site

I am new to the whole web design/publishing/ownership thing, so I could use
any step-by-step help possible.

I created a site in Publisher and am ready to upload it to my site (using Yahoo). Per the Yahoo website and their instructions:

"To publish a site you created with Publisher, you'll first need to set up
FTP by adding an FTP location:

Choose "Publish to the Web" from Publisher's File menu.
In the "Save in" box of the "Publish to the Web" dialog, under "FTP
Locations," choose "Add/Modify FTP Locations."
Enter your FTP settings in the fields provided. You can find your personal
FTP settings on the Create & Update and Manage tabs of your Web Hosting
Control Panel, in the Web Hosting Account Details module under "FTP Account
Info."
Click "OK" to save your settings.
Choose "OK" again to finish your FTP setup.
When you're ready to publish your site, you can upload your web site files
to your account via FTP:

Choose "Publish to the Web" from Publisher's File menu.
In the "Save in" box of the "Publish to the Web" dialog, choose "FTP
Locations."
Double-click on the site to which you want to publish. If you want to
publish to a subfolder of that site, navigate to that folder now.
To publish your web site files to this location, click "Save."
"

I tried to do this...I think I followed all the instructions, but I couldn't
get anything to work. I'm not sure what I need to enter beyond the host name
when I do the add/modify. The window asks for anonymous or user, and if a
user a password. I have no idea what I need to do.

Help! Thanks!

My System

I use FrontPage 2003 to write and maintain the websites I master and upload them using a third party FTP program, but I took a look at Publisher 2003 ....

As far as I can see your FTP settings are to be found on Yahoo ...

You need to check user and fill in your username and password. That's the drill in my FTP program.

Sorry to be a bit vague, but I am not familiar with Yahoo, nor with web publishing from Publisher.

HTH
