Question problem with Word 2002 please help

When trying to save a document in Word 2002 I occationally get a message that says "cannot save this document because of a file permission error". It gives me an option to save it under a temp name. If I choose to do this I can go back and change the name to the original name. If I choose no, the document is gone for good even if I have saved it before.
What's going on?
Thanks for any help.

Rick, check to see if the folder where you are trying to store the file is opened by a higher priority resource, the OS for instance or Outlook.

Also, check this link:
