    I have a P4 Pc with 128mb memory, 20gb HD, running win98 with Office 2000 Pro.

Excel, ppt, access, outlook works fine. Word does not.

When I click on the icon I get "There is not enough memory or disk space to run word. "

Need help on fixing this problem.

    Thanks

This can occur if the file NORMAL.dot is corrupted.

Do a FIND FILEs for NORMAL.dot.

When you find it, delete it and start Word.

Word will recreate it. You will need to change any defaults that you modified.

If you make a lot of changes to the Word defaults, like fonts, etc. you may want to make a copy of NORMAL.dot in case this happens again. Then, instead of just deleting the file, delete it and replace it with the copy.
