MS Paint and MS Word

Is there anyway in Paint to save a pic to Jpeg or Gif , I have Windows 98 SE, is there anyway to get it to save in those formats? Also is there any free version of MS Word?

Try the fix presented here.

As for a free version of MSWord, I don't think so. Bill wouldn't allow that.

Hi Kayz
Welcome to the boards. Does this help for MS Paint? Or perhaps try #6 here.
Have you thought of Open Office or Star Office?

Anybody with a Z in their alias can't be all bad! I will face the north at midnight and propose a toast to your electronic presence in my fleeting existence on this planet and rest assured in the fact that we are soul mates and will someday meet in the vast etherial world that is written on the hard drive of eternity.

Or maybe not.

I just made that up. I really should lie down now since I have had much too much medication for any man of my size.

Happy New Year!
