We occasionally get a message of insufficient memory when trying to copy and paste in Word 2000. The most recent was as follows:
After copying and then trying to paste a web page into Word we got the following message:
“Microsoft Word
There is insufficient memory or disk space. Close extra windows and save your work.”
We had the IE home page and Outlook Express minimized at the time. We are using 15.7 GB of our available 36.2 GB hard drive.
We are running Winows XP Home Edition.
We checked our System Information and found the following at this time.
Total Physical Memory: 512.00 MB
Available Physical Memory: 258.77 MB
Total Virtual Memory: 1.34 GB
Available Virtual Memory: 914.22 MB
Page File Space: 866.11 MB
Page File: C:\pagefile.sys
Does anyone know why we would be getting these insufficient memory messages?
Thanks for any help.

I've received simular but different error using Word 97. Part of the error says......
"The disk is full trying to write to C:....".
My current HD is 120GB with over 100GB available. This error occurs "only" when I try to insert a 2nd large image (1.2MB) to the same document. If I insert the same image into a new document or with no previous large image... no error. Does Word have a "per document" kb limit?
