xp cd writing wizard cannot complete

    CD writing wizard " cannot complete the CD writing wizard" when backing up Quicken files. It worked even after I installed SP2 and 3. I can burn music CD's on the same burner. I have installed fixes and was finally able to get a backup but on a CDR rather than CD-RW like I have in the past. It started giving me the error message sporadically but now every time, at least using CD-RW. I have tried all the work arounds from Microsoft, Quicken, and Roxio.:confused:

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

    Listing the majority of the work around would help so we don't suggest the same thing(s).

    CD-R's general produce the best results and CD-RW's the worst results. (for me anyway)
