Resolved Java problem

    So i tried to instal java
    and then a pop-up came saying it couldn't create temporary files i don't know what to do now... help please
    the error number is 1336

    Hm - nor can I from the link I posted, BUT if I Google again for java error 1336 and hit the link Error 1336 when attempting to install Java Runtime : error ... then it works - scroll towards the bottom of the page.

    so i tried those solutions but i don't really know what do to .. it's like chinese or something .. i do know how to run the registery thing but that's where it stops ..
    i'm sorry if i bug you with this question

    OK - let's try a different approach .....

    Start > Run > type in %temp% > Enter .....

    All the temp files listed are safe to delete - one or two may be in use and cannot be deleted.

    Repeat for C:\Window\temp - one or two may be in use and cannot be deleted.


    Download JavaRa to your hard drive.

    Unzip the files and double click the .exe to run. Click on 'Remove older versions'.

    Then click on Additional Tasks and select the first 3 items and Go.

    Then click on Search for Updates - Using Sun Java Website > Search

    On the Sun web page download JRE 6 Update 14, save to hard drive and install.

    Let us know if successful or not.
