Resolved Reinstallations

Hi! I have a general question to through out to all. When you reinstall anything, programs, etc., do you end up with double files or do the programs not install what is already on the cp? Thanks.

 

Most installation programs will recognize that there is already a version on the disc and overwrite it. Sometimes the install program will ask you to remove the program before reinstalling. Sometimes, if it is a newer version of the software, it might install a second version and you will have two seperate versions, which is not always a bad thing. We have two versions of WordPerfect, I use one, the wife uses the other.
